CJ was established by Andy Chou (CEO) and his team in 2014. After four years, through successful management, we launched CJ platform. As of today, we are the most professional and leading dropshipping supply chain company in China.

The Story Behind Our Name

CJ is short for Yiwu Cujia Trade Co., Ltd. We were selling jewelry at beginning, only Conor Cross Necklace became hot-selling product and brought us the first profit. Thanks to the miraculous jewelry, there is CJ Dropshipping.

The Moment Everything Changed

I grew up in a very humble family and always wanted to change my life. I tried many different businesses, but most of them failed.
Then in 2015, something unexpected happened.
At that time, I was an AliExpress seller selling jewelry. One day, I woke up and found that my store suddenly had more than 100 orders from the same buyer account, for the same product, but shipped to many different addresses.

I was very curious and kept asking myself, “How did this happen, and why?”

Discovering the Power of Dropshipping

I started searching online, and that was the first time I discovered Oberlo, Shopify, Facebook Ads, and dropshipping.
Later, I connected with the buyer and found out that he was actually an Icelandic student studying in the United States. He wanted to move out of the school dormitory and live with his girlfriend outside campus, but he couldn’t afford the rent.
So he searched online for ways to make money online, and that’s how he discovered Shopify. He started trying dropshipping, and it worked.
When I heard his story, I felt like I saw myself in him. He changed his life, and I wanted to help people like him succeed through dropshipping.

Then I realized there were many people around the world doing the same thing, trying to change their lives through ecommerce. At that moment, I realized this business could be truly meaningful if I could help those people succeed. So I stopped focusing on all my other businesses and decided to fully focus on CJdropshipping, helping young people go from zero to success.
